RMMMH Events Through June 2007

The RMMMH offers a range of activities for all interests and age groups this summer.

• October 20, 2006, Friday - opening of Flags of Our Fathers movie, Missoula time and place TBA; RMMMH display in conjuction with effort to build U.S.S. Missoula/Iwo Jima display at Museum.
• November 11, Sunday, 3:00, RMMMH - Veterans Day Weekend Commemoration. Program by Major Zack Allen, UM ROTC: "The Lost Battalion of World War I."
• December 17, Sunday, 1-4, RMMMH - Museum Christmas Party; refreshments, public invited.
• February 11, 2007, Sunday, 3:00, RMMMH - Lincoln's Birthday Weekend; Civil War reenactor demonstrations.
• May 29, Tuesday, 3:00, RMMMH - Memorial Day. Program honoring descendents of WW I soldiers and presentation of commemorative certificates (see related newsletter story)
• June 24, Sunday, time TBA, Fort Missoula Post Cemetery - "Stories in Stones" interpretive program on past Fort Missoula soldiers and residents through 1932.
• Summer 2007 - 130th Anniversary of Fort Missoula's founding and 1877 Nez Perce War; programs TBA.
