Above the letterhead is [form number?] "No. 2106"

Dated Mar 15 1889. The letter seems to outline the payments due on a mortgage and reads:
"A. J. Steele Esq
Helena Mont
Dear Sir We hold Warranty Deed from Kate H. McCormick to Peter hansan [?] for lots 15 & 16 Block 23 as per attached abstract of Title Said Deed to be delivered you when the following payments have been made.
Sight draft $1000.00
8 months at 1% per month $1000.00
12 [ditto marks- months at] 1% [ditto marks- per month] $1000.00
When the above payments have been made to us we will release our mortgage on lots in said deed.
