Dated Feb. 10, 1904. This letter to P. H. Gohn of Pony, Montana, is in regard to the use of Forest Reserve Scrip as payment for timber lands. [U. S.?] Senator Hansborough had introduced a bill into Congress to repeal the Stone and Timber Act which would prevent the use of Scrip.
