"Butte Auxiliary
For Rehabilitation of Crippled Children
P. O. Box 158
Butte, Montana"
Dated March 11, 1931. This letter to the "International Brotherhood Electrical Workers #65" is a plea for funds to treat children with crippling diseases. The organization was formed in 1923 and raised significant amounts of money for their cause. The 1931 annual campaign goal was $10,000.00. A. E. Wilkinson was that year's chairman, and 21 other names were listed on the letter (about 50% of which were women). The notation at the bottom of the letter indicates that it was received 3-20-31 and it appears a donation was made of $25.00."
