Kalispell, Montana
Dear Mr/ Pomeroy:-
At the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of this County,I took up with them the matter of the suit of the County against the Bonners Ferry Lumber Company, and the Board requested me to say to you,as a matter of compromise, that if the Bonners Ferry Lumber Company would pay the actual amount of costs in removing the logs that was paid by the County, the same being $85.00 it would dismiss the case as settled, not insisting on the damages. Will you advise if your client will pay the amount , to wit, $85.00 upon the case being dismissed and oblige
Yours Very Truly,
James M. Blackford"
