The engraving on the left shows a forest with a lumberjack [?] while the engraving on the right shows the Lumber Co. building with horses and wagons, horsemen and a trolley car on the street in front of the building.

Dated May 23, 1895. Mr D. C. Spencer paid $9.90 for materials "For Valera Library".
