The letterhead is from:
"Hope Mining Company.
Mines and Works.
Basin, Montana."

Dated Jan. 4 1897. The letter reads:
"Mess. [the plural of mister] A. M. Holter & Co,
Helena, Montana
Gentlemen:- Please let Mr. Fisher have such material as he may need to help fix up our concentrator and charge the same to our a/c [account].
Yours truly Hope Mining Co.
By W. D. Field"
