The letterhead is from:
"Valley Drug Store
J. D. Miser, Proprietor,
Dealer in
Pure Drugs and Medicines.
Physician's Prescriptions Carefully Compounded By
Charles G. Thompson, Ph. M. D.
Stevensville, Mont."

Also on the letterhead is a boxed list of specialties carried in the store:
"A fine line of
Fruit, Confectionery, Stationery,
Novelties.
Fine domestic and imported
Cigars.
Pure wines and liquors. Pure corn
whiskey a specialty."

Dated Oct 9, 1892. This letter seems to be a complaint sent to the Journal Publishing Co. of Helena, Mont. It reads:
"Gentlemen,
The papers come to hand regularly every evening.
But find imposible[sic] to do anything to amount to anything with them cause. Every evening the town is flooded with daily papers free of cost to any one appearently [sic] They are principally the Daily Missoulian and Anaconda Standard.

J. D. Miser"
