Dated Mar 17, 1893. The letter is an order for merchandise from "H. M. Parchen & Co." of Helena, Mont. The items ordered include Sarsparilla, Rough on Rats, Carters L. L. Pills [this editor well remembers television ads for Carter's Little Liver Pills], Halls Hair Renewer and Harters Iron Tonic. Also included with the order was $30.00 in cash to be credited to the Valley Drug account. In the margin, in red, a clerk noted the cash with the order, and asked for a quote[?] on some kind of copper.
