The letterhead states:
"Bought of
John O'Rourke, Pres't J. J. Harrington, Sec'y & Treas.
Red Boot Shoe Co.
Incorporated
Butte, Mont.
Paid up Capital $75,000.
Footwear Specialists."

The engraving on the left hand side of the letterhead shows a sign advertising:
"Red Boot Shoe Co.
Butte, Mont.
trade mark"

Dated Jun 1 1905. The bill is for "Eugene Carroll - 30 W. Granite" who purchased a pair of Golf Shoes for $3.50 on May 22 1905. The bill is stamped "Received Payment Red Boot Shoe Co.," and dated 6/15/05.
