The letterhead is from:

Whitefish, Mont."

Dated June 7th, 1907. The text of the letter reads:
"Charles W. Pomeroy,
Kalispell Mont.
Dear Sir:
Your favor of the 6th concerning the Chin Sing matter just to hand, and in reply beg to say that one R. A. Hodgens on May 21st commenced an action against Chin for $63.00, and a few days prior to answer day, the case was settled out of Court, J. E. Skyles signing an agreement with Maiden the Attorney for Plaintiff, to pay the plaintiff the sum of $60.00, Plaintiff paying the costs of the action. I have no copy of the agreement signed by Skyles, but understand Skyles was ready to pay over the amount a few days since, but there was an attachment placed on the money in Skyles possession by Louis Micho, who claims Hodgens is indebted to him. Any further information you may desire on the subject will be supplied if available.

The letter is stamped "Jun 8 Rec'd", however the stamp which appears to say "Jun 18 Ans'd" has been crossed out in pencil. This appears to refer to the previous Chin Sing letter.
